To Many Crooks Spoil The Broth by Tamar Myers is the first book in the series called A Pennsylvania-Dutch Mystery. The book is set in the Pennsylvania-Dutch area. The store actually is set in the PennDutch Inn that is run by Magdalena Yoder. In this first book there is a guest at the Inn who falls down the stair and dies. Magdalena fears a lawsuit than foul plays but then another ends up dead and Magdalena wants to find out who did it. The nonsense way Magdalena runs the Inn and deals with her sister is quite interesting. I can not wait to read the next book in this series to see what happens at the PennDutch Inn.
