Dead Witch Walking by Kim Harrison is the first book in The Hollow Series. This book was great and since it is the first one in the series it will give you back on the main characters in the story. This background information does not take up a lot of the book, but it helps move the story along for it gives very important information why a character is acting a certain way. This is a paranormal book that believe is classified as Urban Fantasy. There is a great amount of action that goes which helps move the story along. The interaction through the main characters is quite interesting.
So here is some info on the book. The main character in this series is Rachel Morgan she starts out working for the Inderland Security,I. S., as a runner. She quits her job since she hates and one of the other worker, Ivy, also quits with her. I. S. is upset about and put out a hit on Rachel, so most of the book she is try to avoid being killed. Her and Ivy decide to go into business together. Jenks, a Pixy, also goes with them. All of three of them move into a church together. So I can not wait to see what other mischeif that they get into in their adventures.

Fantasy Lover by Sherrilyn Kenyon
Fantasy Lover by Sherrilyn Kenyon is a great book. It is the second book in the Dark-Hunter/Dream-Hunter Series. It does not mention the Dark-Hunters at all but if you other books they reference the main character Julian in other books. Also a couple of the other characters are in other books. This one is about Julian being cursed by a God to a book to be a love slave when a woman summons him out of it for an entire month. Julian's mother is Aphrodite the Goddess of Love. Grace summons him out of the book on her birthday to humor her friend Selena. She thinks it doesn't work but after Selena leaves Julian shows up. I hope you will enjoy this as much as I did.
